We are proud to promote our cycling friends Slow Roll 505. That’s right, if you didn’t know Albuquerque has its own slow roll event, which started with a successful 2019 season. Last we heard, they were planning a return of this kidical mass event. Watch their Instagram for more info (@slowroll505).

It helps to have the praise of our community partner BikeABQ. BikeABQ is a nonprofit organization that engages cyclists through advocacy, education and outreach throughout the city. You’ve seen their advocacy in each of our towns: bike lane striping, bike route and share-the-road signs, permanent bike racks . . . plus Street Skills classes, Safe Routes to Schools programs, Bike-to-Work-Month programs, Bike Valets, BikeSwaps, and more. BikeABQ brings together the diverse bicycling community in a united mission to improve the cycling environment and quality of life for the greater Albuquerque.

Kidical Mass ABQ is a group of cycling enthusiasts of all ages who aim to help cyclists feel more comfortable and safe riding on city streets and using bicycles for transportation, make cycling safer in Albuquerque, and get younger riders out riding! They organize family friendly rides all year long and take part in a Kidical Mass Global Action Day annually in September.
